2005 Maine Marks

Indicator: 69 - Communities in Partnership With State Government
Why This Is Important

A priority of the Governor's Children's Cabinet is to expand the number of partnerships
between state government agencies and local communities working to improve the
well-being of children and families. This indicator tracks the number of partnerships
occurring as part of five major community-based initiatives:

  • Communities for Children/Communities of Promise
  • School-Based Service Learning
  • Child Abuse and Neglect Councils
  • Healthy Community Coalitions
Office of Substance Abuse OneME Coalitions
